Subaru Forester Coilovers & Suspension FAQ

Which coilovers fit the Subaru Forester?
Every kit on this page is listed for the Subaru Forester. Check that your model years, drivetrain and chassis code match the product title. If your car has factory adaptive or electronic dampers, check the listing notes, since some kits need a cancellation kit.
Should I get coilovers or air suspension for my Subaru Forester?
Coilovers suit a car that is driven hard and set at one height. Air struts suit a car that needs to sit low when parked and lift for driveways, and they need an air management system.
Do I need an alignment after lowering my Subaru Forester?
Yes. Changing ride height changes camber and toe. Set your final height, let the suspension settle, then get the car aligned.
