Collection: Ford F-150 Leveling Kits

This page collects over 20 leveling kits for the Ford F-150, from Skyjacker, Air Lift, MaxTrac, Body Armor 4x4, Rancho, Daystar, Belltech and Ford Performance. Most are front strut spacers or complete front-and-rear kits that take out the factory rake, plus air spring kits that keep the truck level when it is loaded or towing.

Which generation do you have?

  • 2004-2008 (11th generation), plus the 2004 F-150 Heritage, which is the older body and takes different parts
  • 2009-2014 (12th generation)
  • 2015-2020 (13th generation, aluminum body)
  • 2021 and newer (14th generation)

Many kits are split by 2WD and 4WD, and several exclude the Raptor, which uses a different front suspension. Match the exact model years, drivetrain and trim on each listing before you order.

How to choose

Level or lift. An F-150 sits noticeably lower in front from the factory. A 2 to 2.5 inch front spacer brings the nose up roughly even with the bed. Kits like the MaxTrac 2.5in front / 1in rear add a little at the back too, so you keep a slight rake for hauling.

Spacers or new struts. Strut spacers keep the factory strut and spring, so cost is low and ride stays close to stock. The Ford Performance kit swaps in Fox 2.0 IFP dampers instead, which costs more but replaces worn factory struts at the same time.

Mind the front angles. Raising an independent front end steepens the CV axle and upper ball joint angles. Staying around 2.5 inches keeps factory control arms and axles comfortable; much beyond that you start needing control arms and alignment correction.

Load leveling is a different job. Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 kits sit between the axle and frame and level the rear under a load. They help stance and headlight aim but do not raise the truck's payload or towing rating.

Price range

Prices run from about $105 for a strut spacer set to about $1,700 for the Ford Performance Fox kit, with most leveling kits near $250.

FAQ

Will a leveling kit change how my F-150 rides?

Spacers keep the factory spring and damper, so ride feels much the same. Because the strut length does not change, the truck gives up a little downtravel in exchange for the extra height.

Do I need an alignment after leveling?

Yes. Toe and camber shift with ride height on an independent front end, so plan on an alignment right after the install.
