Who Longacre Racing is
Longacre Racing Products makes setup tools and equipment for racers. Its About page says Jack Jaynes founded the company in California in 1978, that it later moved to Washington State, and that it joined AFCO Performance Group in 2017. The contact address on its site is in Boonville, Indiana. Longacre's catalog covers race scales (its About page calls them the marquee product line), chassis setup tools such as caster/camber gauges, toe and stagger tools and spring rubbers, tire pressure gauges, gauge and switch panels, and specialty tools.
Longacre is a tool brand, not a parts brand. Nothing on this page bolts onto your car as suspension. These are the tools you use to measure and set the suspension you already have, whether that's a circle track car, a drag car or a track-day build on coilovers.

How to choose between Longacre's tools
Caster/camber gauges: digital or bubble, and how they mount
A bubble gauge is simple and never needs batteries. Longacre's bubble gauges on our store cost $144.99 (52-78250, no adapter) and $148.74 (billet gauge with case). Digital gauges cost $238.74 to $352.49 and are quicker to read. The bigger question is how the gauge attaches. Longacre sells threaded hub adapters for GM 3/4 inch 20 thread and Wide 5 hubs, a QuickSet adapter, Dunlop-style gauges including a 22 inch version, and a gauge with a magnetic adapter. Match the mount to your hubs or rotors before you pick a gauge, and buy the "no adapter" versions only if you already have one.
Toe plates and turn plates
Toe plates sit against the tire sidewalls so you can measure toe with a tape. The standard set is $82.49 and the deluxe set is $178.42. Aluminum turning plates ($928.74) let the front tires turn freely, which you need to measure caster properly by sweeping the wheels.
Ride height and leveling
All setup numbers depend on a level floor and a repeatable ride height. The mini chassis height checker ($92.49) and long and short height gauges ($158.42) are simple tools. The laser tools ($437.55 and $439.38) both check chassis height and level a setup pad, with matching targets for $31.24 and $32.12. If you're lowering a street car, our ride height and wheel fitment calculator helps plan the target height first.
Spring rubbers
Spring rubbers are a quick way to add rate to a coil spring without swapping it. Longacre's are color coded by hardness, from Yellow 5 and Clear 10 up to Blue 50 and Black 70 for standard coil-over springs, plus large space and deep groove versions for 5 and 5.5 inch springs. Use them for small tuning changes, and change the spring itself for big ones. Our spring rate calculator and spring rate explained cover the basics.
Shock inflators and spring testers
The 300 psi shock inflators ($139.99 to $215.79) set gas pressure in rebuildable shocks, and the 1 inch unload collar ($33.17) helps when working on coilovers. Spring testers are shop tools: the billet digital coil spring tester is $1,995.33 and the air-powered bump stop and coil spring tester, rated to 4,000 lb, is $3,318.14. They let you check that springs and bump stops match their stated rates.
Fitment
Most Longacre tools are universal. The exceptions are adapters, which must match your hub thread or style, the deep groove spring rubbers sized for 5 and 5.5 inch springs, and the snap-in bump steer adapter for Wilwood Starlite hubs with 5/8-11 threads. Check those details on each listing.
Longacre compared with alternatives we carry
SPC Performance is the only other alignment tool brand on our store. Its FasTrax camber caster gauge ($460.99) is built for off-road trucks with 13 to 17 inch wheels and tires up to 44 inches, and it also sells a $102.99 camber tool. For a race car or track car, Longacre's lighter gauges and wider adapter choice are the better fit. For a lifted truck, look at SPC Performance.
Warranty terms are set by each brand.
Put the numbers to work
Once you can measure, you may find the car needs more adjustment than it has. See alignment and camber kits, camber plates, coil springs and bump stops.
