Collection: Ram 2500 Lift Kits

This page covers over 60 lift kits and lift components for the Ram 2500, from a 1in add-a-leaf to 6in front lift coils. MaxTrac, Skyjacker and Carli supply most of the range, with Eibach and ICON adding spring kits.

Which generation do you have?

  • 1994-2002 second-generation Dodge Ram 2500
  • 2003-2009 third generation, often split 2003-2005 and 2006-2008
  • 2010-2013 trucks, covered by several 2003-2013 spring kits
  • 2014-2018 fourth generation with rear coil springs
  • 2019-2024 fifth generation

Spring rates differ between Hemi and Cummins diesel trucks, and 2WD and 4WD use different front suspension. Match the exact years, engine, drivetrain and, on 2014 and later trucks, whether you have factory rear air.

How to choose

A 4WD Ram 2500 has a solid front axle on coil springs, so lifting it is about springs, track bar geometry and caster rather than CV angles. Up to roughly 2.5 to 3 inches can usually be done with springs or spacers. At 4 inches and beyond, the axle shifts sideways as it drops away from the frame, which is why MaxTrac sells a front track bar bracket for its 4in and 6in kits, and caster usually needs correcting with adjustable or longer arms.

Spring choice should follow engine weight. Carli and ICON list separate diesel and Hemi coils because the Cummins adds several hundred pounds over the front axle. Carli multi-rate and linear coils give different ride feel at the same height. At the rear, leaf-spring trucks lift with add-a-packs or blocks, while 2014 and later trucks use coil spacers or taller springs. Many MaxTrac and Skyjacker listings are single component boxes, so confirm you have the full set.

Price range

Prices run from about $80 for single components to about $1,900 for complete kits, with the typical listing near $485.

FAQ

Do Ram 2500 kits fit a Ram 3500?

Some do. Several listings cover both 2500 and 3500, but rear springs and dually setups often differ, so only use a part on a 3500 when the title includes it.

Will a leveling kit change ride quality?

Coil spacers keep the stock spring rate, so ride stays close to stock. Taller springs change the rate and can firm up or soften the ride depending on the design.

See every Ram part on our Ram coilovers and suspension page, or compare spring rates with the spring rate calculator.
