Collection: JKS Jeep Suspension

JKS Manufacturing has made Jeep suspension parts since 1989 and created the original Quick Disconnect sway bar links. This page lists the JKS parts we stock: J-Flex and J-Link control arms, Quicker Disconnect end links, shock extension brackets and a JK steering correction kit. Prices run from $144.99 to $630.99, for Wrangler JL, JK and TJ, Gladiator JT and older Jeeps.

Who JKS Manufacturing is

JKS Manufacturing builds suspension for Jeep vehicles. The company says it has developed Jeep products since 1989, starting with the original Quick Disconnect quick-release sway bar disconnects. Today JKS makes JSPEC lift kits (J-Venture, J-Kontrol, J-Konnect, J-Krawl and J-Max), long arm kits, track bars, control arms, coil springs, bump stops and steering parts, mainly for the Wrangler and Gladiator, with some Bronco parts.

We carry 19 JKS parts right now. It is a focused set of arms, links and brackets, not complete lift kits.

The Quicker Disconnect links also cover the Wrangler TJ, Cherokee XJ, Comanche MJ, Grand Cherokee ZJ and WJ, and the CJ and YJ. For complete lift kits and more parts, see our Wrangler and Gladiator lift kits and Jeep suspension pages.

How to choose between JKS lines

J-Flex vs J-Link adjustable

Both are adjustable, so you can set pinion angle and caster after a lift. JKS builds J-Flex arms from 2 in OD, 0.250 in wall DOM tubing, with an OE-style rubber bushing at the axle and a greaseable, rebuildable flex end at the frame. JKS says that flex end allows 30 degrees of misalignment for articulation. J-Link adjustable arms use maintenance-free rubber bushings at both ends for less noise and vibration. Pick J-Flex if you crawl and want the most articulation. Pick J-Link if the Jeep is mostly a daily driver.

J-Link fixed length

Fixed arms are the simple choice for a mild lift. JKS makes the JL/JT front lowers 5/16 in longer than stock to correct caster, and the JL rear lowers 1/4 in longer to recenter the axle, for 0 to 4.5 in of lift in the factory mounts.

Quicker Disconnect end links

Pick the link by vehicle and lift height. For the JL and JT, JKS2032 covers 0 to 2 in and JKS2033 covers 2.5 to 6 in, according to JKS. JKS says the links can improve articulation by up to 30 percent when disconnected. Our sway bar end links page lists other options.

Brackets and the JK steering kit

The JL shock extension brackets extend the factory mounts by 2 in, so factory shocks work with up to 2.5 in of lift. The JK steering and caster correction kit is for JKs with 2.5 to 5 in of lift. JKS notes it needs a factory pitman arm and at least 3 in of front bump stop extension.

What else you'll need

Any control arm change needs an alignment. On a lifted Jeep, an adjustable track bar keeps the axle centered, and a steering stabilizer helps control shimmy. See our Steer Smarts page for heavy-duty tie rods and drag links.

JKS vs alternatives we carry

TeraFlex is the closest alternative. Our TeraFlex range includes quick-disconnect end links at $204.99 and Alpine IR control arms at $2,099.99. JKS gives you more individual arm choices at lower prices, while TeraFlex leans toward complete systems and shocks.

JKS Jeep Suspension FAQ

What is JKS Manufacturing known for?
JKS Manufacturing has made Jeep suspension parts since 1989 and created the original Quick Disconnect sway bar disconnects. It also makes JSPEC lift kits, control arms, track bars and steering parts.
What is the difference between JKS J-Flex and J-Link control arms?
J-Flex arms use a greaseable flex end at the frame for more articulation. J-Link arms use rubber bushings at both ends for a quieter ride.
Which JKS Quicker Disconnect links fit my lifted JL?
JKS lists JKS2032 for JL and JT Jeeps with 0 to 2 in of lift and JKS2033 for 2.5 to 6 in of lift.
Do I need adjustable control arms after a lift?
Adjustable arms let you correct caster and pinion angle after a lift. For a small lift, fixed length J-Link arms that are slightly longer than stock may be enough.
Can I keep factory shocks on a lifted Wrangler JL?
JKS says its JL shock extension brackets extend the mounts by 2 in, so factory shocks work with up to 2.5 in of lift.
Do I need an alignment after installing JKS control arms?
Yes. New control arms change caster and axle position, so get an alignment after the install.
