Collection: Jeep Wrangler Lift Kits

This page covers over 160 lift kits and lift components for the Jeep Wrangler, from 1in coil systems to 4.5in long travel kits. Skyjacker supplies most of the range, with Rancho, MaxTrac, Eibach, ICON, KYB, Rock Krawler and RockJock covering the rest.

Which generation do you have?

  • YJ, 1987-1995, on leaf springs
  • TJ and LJ, 1997-2006, on coil springs
  • JK and JKU, 2007-2018, 2-door and 4-door
  • JL and JLU, 2018 and later, including 4xe and Rubicon 392

Kits differ by door count, Rubicon or non-Rubicon, and powertrain, since the 4xe, diesel and 392 sit at different heights. Match the exact years, model, doors and trim on each listing.

How to choose

Wranglers use solid axles front and rear, so lift is limited by link geometry, not CV angles. Up to about 2.5 inches, springs or spacers with longer shocks usually work with factory arms and track bars. From 3.5 to 4.5 inches, plan for adjustable track bars or brackets to center the axles, adjustable control arms to correct caster and pinion angle, longer sway bar links and brake lines, and sometimes a driveshaft change.

Long travel and dual rate coils, like those in many Skyjacker kits, give a softer initial rate for ride and articulation while firming up deeper in the stroke. Rubicon and non-Rubicon models use different factory springs, which is why several kits are sold in Rubicon and non-Rubicon versions. Rancho and MaxTrac component box listings are one box of a multi-box kit, so confirm you have every box.

Price range

Prices run from about $90 for single components to about $1,970 for complete long travel kits, with the typical kit near $670.

FAQ

What size lift do I need for 35s?

It depends on model and wheel backspacing. As a rough guide, JL and JK owners often run 35s on 2.5 to 3.5 inches of lift with suitable wheels, but check with a fitment calculator.

Do I need to re-gear after lifting?

The lift itself does not require it, but the larger tires that usually follow can make the Jeep feel sluggish, and many owners re-gear for 35s and up.
