This page covers over 10 lift and leveling kits for the Chevy Tahoe from Skyjacker, Eibach, MaxTrac and Body Armor 4x4. Options run from simple front strut spacers to complete spring kits, and many parts are shared with the GMC Yukon, Suburban and Avalanche.
Which generation do you have?
-
2000-2006 (GMT800)
-
2007-2014 (GMT900; some kits run 2007-2018)
-
2015-2020 (K2XX)
-
2021 and newer (T1XX, independent rear suspension)
Some kits are 2WD only, and some exclude trucks with Autoride or Magnetic Ride. Match the exact years, drivetrain and suspension package on each listing before you order.
How to choose
Check your shocks first. Tahoes with Autoride or Magnetic Ride Control use electronically controlled dampers. Many spacer and leveling kits are listed only for trucks without them, so confirm what your truck has before you shop.
Level or lift. A 2 inch front spacer levels the nose. The MaxTrac 3in front / 1.5in rear kit and the Eibach 2.5in front / 1in rear springs raise both ends while keeping a slight rake, which helps when towing.
Rear suspension. Through 2020 the Tahoe uses a solid rear axle on coil springs, so rear lift comes from taller springs or spacers. The 2021+ Tahoe has an independent rear, and the Skyjacker 2in and 3in kits are made for that layout.
2WD and 4WD. On 4WD trucks, front lift steepens the CV axle angle. That is why some taller spacers, like the Body Armor 3in, are listed for 2WD only.
Tire size. A 2 inch level usually frees room for a modestly larger tire. Wheel offset matters as much as height, so check before buying.
Price range
Kits run from about $115 for strut spacers to roughly $1,535, with most around $275.
FAQ
Will a Silverado leveling kit fit my Tahoe?
Some front spacers are shared across GM half-ton trucks and SUVs, but only use a part whose listing names the Tahoe.
Do I need an alignment after leveling?
Yes. Front ride height changes toe and camber, so align right after the install.
