How to choose

Know your rear suspension. First and second generation Tundras use rear leaf springs, so rear lift comes from blocks or add-a-leafs. The 2022+ Tundra switched to a coil-sprung multi-link rear, so it uses rear spacers or taller springs instead.

Level or lift. A 2 to 2.5 inch front strut spacer roughly levels a Tundra. Kits like the MaxTrac 2.5in/1in or Skyjacker 2.5in front / 1in rear add some rear height too, which keeps a slight rake for towing.

Spacers, springs or coilovers. Spacers are the cheapest route and keep the factory ride. Eibach Pro-Truck Lift stages pair lift springs with matched shocks. ICON's 0-2.25in Stage 2 system uses adjustable coilovers so you can set the exact height.

Angles and arms. On 4WD trucks, more front lift steepens CV angles. Beyond about 2.5 inches, aftermarket upper control arms help correct camber and caster.

Boxed kits. Some MaxTrac and ICON kits ship as numbered component boxes. Make sure you order every box your kit needs.

Can I put a second-gen kit on a 2022 Tundra?

No. The 2022+ truck has a new frame and a coil-sprung rear, so second-generation parts will not fit.
