Collection: BMW E46 Coilovers & Suspension

Coilovers, camber plates, camber arms and sway links for the BMW E46 3 Series and E46 M3, rear-wheel drive and AWD. Brands include SF Racing, SLR Speed, ISR Performance, AST, Godspeed and Megan Racing.

Choosing coilovers for your BMW E46

The E46 3 Series (1999-2006) came in rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive (xi) versions, and the E46 M3 (2001-2006) has its own suspension. AWD and M3 cars often need specific kits, so check drive layout, model and years in each product title before you order.

SLR lists Drift Spec, BOSS Drift Spec and 2-way adjustable Drift Spec MAX coilovers for the E46, plus an M3 version. SF Racing lists Sport, Track and N2 coilovers and air struts for RWD, AWD and M3 cars, including true rear versions. ISR Performance Pro Series, AST 5100 Series, Godspeed and Megan Racing kits are also listed.

After lowering, adjustable camber plates, rear camber arms and adjustable sway links help bring alignment and sway bar preload back into range. Plan on an alignment after any suspension change.

BMW E46 Coilovers & Suspension FAQ

Do E46 coilovers fit the M3 and AWD (xi) models?
The E46 M3 and all-wheel-drive xi cars often need their own kit. Check the model, drive layout and years in the product title before ordering.
What does true rear mean on E46 coilovers?
The factory E46 rear uses a separate spring and shock. A true rear setup mounts the spring around the rear shock like a full coilover. Check the product notes for any installation requirements.
Do I need rear camber arms after lowering an E46?
Lowering adds negative rear camber. Adjustable rear camber arms let you set it back where you want it, which many lowered and track cars use.
Do I need an alignment after installing coilovers?
Yes. Plan on an alignment after any ride height or arm change.
