The front bushing of each rear trailing arm is where a Subaru's rear wheel is anchored fore and aft, and it is one of the parts that wears first. A tired bushing lets the wheel shift under braking and over bumps, which brings clunks and a vague rear end. This SuperPro kit replaces it on the 2009-2013 Subaru Forester and 2010-2014 Legacy. It suits daily drivers being refreshed, Foresters that see gravel or light trail use, and Legacys that are driven with some enthusiasm.

Plan the whole job

  • An alignment after installing new arms or bushings.
  • Matching parts at the other end. Upgrading one side or one link and leaving worn parts elsewhere limits the improvement.
  • Install tools. Pressed-in bushings may need a press or a shop to fit them.
