Listed for: BMW E46Fitment notes & questions

The E46 has a narrow rear subframe, and its rubber bushings deform over time, letting geometry shift under torque and suspension load. These 95A polyurethane bushings with aluminum inserts mount the rear subframe firmly to the chassis.

That keeps the rear end tight and responsive on street-driven E46 and X3 models. The source notes they raise the subframe slightly to improve toe geometry on lowered cars.

Ask about fitment

Parts that usually go with it

  • An alignment after installing new arms or bushings.
  • Matching parts at the other end. Upgrading one side or one link and leaving worn parts elsewhere limits the improvement.
  • Install tools. Pressed-in bushings may need a press or a shop to fit them.
