Tired of your stock sheetmetal brackets crushing, or failing under even mild trail use? We've got you covered with our billet version—designed to eliminate the dreaded "smush" and keep your rig stronger for longer. Our billet kits includes two robust brackets and four socket head cap screws for a solid, secure fit.

Billet sway bar bushing brackets are preferred over stamped steel brackets for a few key reasons—especially in performance or off-road applications. Here's a breakdown:

1. Strength and Durability

  • Billet aluminum brackets are CNC-machined from a solid block of metal, making them significantly stronger and more rigid than thin stamped steel.
  • They resist bending, cracking, or deforming under high loads—important during aggressive cornering or off-road articulation.

2. Better Bushing Retention

  • Billet brackets typically hold bushings more securely, ensuring proper alignment and preventing movement that can lead to clunks, wear, or handling issues.
  • They often have tighter tolerances and better clamping force.

3. Corrosion Resistance

  • Billet aluminum is more corrosion-resistant than untreated stamped steel, which can rust over time—especially in wet or salty environments.
  • Many billet brackets are anodized for extra protection and longevity.

4. Precision Fit

  • Because they're CNC-machined, billet brackets usually provide a more accurate and consistent fit across different setups.
  • This helps ensure the sway bar stays centered and operates smoothly.

5. Aesthetic and Aftermarket Appeal

  • Many aftermarket suspension builders prefer billet components for their cleaner appearance, matching other upgraded parts.
  • They're often used in premium kits where performance and presentation matter.
