SuperPro Rear Trailing Arm Front Bushing Kit for 2002-2008 Mini Cooper, Cooper S and Clubman

This is the SuperPro Rear Trailing Arm Front Bushing Kit for the 2002-2008 Mini Cooper, Cooper S and Clubman. Trailing arm bushings locate the rear wheels front to back, and when they wear the rear end can steer itself slightly under braking or over bumps. It suits street cars and anyone restoring a car whose rear end feels vague.

Factory rubber bushings are tuned for comfort, and over time heat, oil and age make them crack, sag and tear. Once that happens the arm or component they hold can move around more than the engineers intended, which shows up as clunks, vague steering, uneven tire wear or a car that feels loose over rough roads.

Install notes

These bushings press into their housings, so you may need a hydraulic press, or a shop with one, to fit them. A wheel alignment afterwards is a good idea when you replace locating bushings.
