SuperPro Rear Trailing Arm Bushing Kit for 1959-1968 Volvo 122 and 1961-1973 Volvo 1800

This SuperPro rear trailing arm bushing kit replaces the trailing arm bushings at the rear of the car for the 1959-1968 Volvo 122 and 1961-1973 Volvo 1800. Trailing arm bushings locate the rear axle or hub fore and aft. Soft or split bushings let the rear end shift under braking and acceleration, which can make the car feel loose at the back. It suits restorations and classic cars still driven on the road.

The trailing arms carry braking and drive forces between the rear wheels and the body, and their bushings decide how much the arm can move off its intended path.

Bushings wear slowly, so many owners do not notice the change until new parts go in. Cracks, missing chunks or oily, swollen rubber are all signs it is time to replace them.
