This SuperPro rear sway bar mount bushing kit replaces the sway bar bushings at the rear of the car for the 1990-2005 Mazda Miata, 2006-2015 MX-5 Miata and 1986-1991 Mazda RX-7. Sway bar bushings clamp the anti-roll bar to the chassis or arms. If they are worn, the bar can move in its mounts before it starts working, so body roll builds up before the bar resists it, and the car can clunk over bumps. It suits street cars and weekend track or autocross use.

The anti-roll bar only does its job if it is held tightly at its mounts. Tired bushings let it slop around, which dulls turn-in and often causes knocking noises.

If you are already replacing worn parts in this area, it is a good time to inspect the surrounding bushings and hardware too, since they usually age at the same rate.
