The rear panhard rod, or track bar, keeps the Wrangler's rear axle centered under the body. Once its bushings soften, the axle can shuffle side to side, which you feel as a loose rear end and a vague response on rutted trails or at highway speed. This SuperPro kit replaces those bushings on 2007-2018 Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited models, giving the rod a firmer hold. It is a good fit for Jeeps that see a mix of daily driving and off-road use, especially lifted rigs where the track bar already works harder.

About this bushing kit for the Jeep Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited

Worn or soft bushings let the suspension move in ways it shouldn't. Fresh or firmer bushings on the Jeep Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited make steering and braking feel more precise.

What else to plan for

  • An alignment after installing new arms or bushings.
  • Matching parts at the other end. Upgrading one side or one link and leaving worn parts elsewhere limits the improvement.
  • Install tools. Pressed-in bushings may need a press or a shop to fit them.
