SuperPro offers this bushing kit for the outer mount of the rear upper control arm on the 2000-2009 Subaru Legacy and Outback. Bushings are the flexible joints that locate each suspension part, and once they wear the car can clunk over bumps or shift under braking. Replacing them is an affordable way to tighten up an older car. In a multi-link rear end each arm controls one direction of wheel movement, so a soft bushing in any one of them can let toe or camber shift under load and leave the rear feeling unsettled. It suits street driving, towing and off-road use.

Ask about fitment

Plan the whole job

  • An alignment after installing new arms or bushings.
  • Matching parts at the other end. Upgrading one side or one link and leaving worn parts elsewhere limits the improvement.
  • Install tools. Pressed-in bushings may need a press or a shop to fit them.
