SPF5410K is a SuperPro insulator kit for the rear coil springs, covering both the upper and lower spring seats. Fresh insulators are a sensible addition whenever rear springs come out, whether for a lowering job, a lift or a simple refresh.

Spring hardware does a quiet but important job. Insulators, shackles and eye bushings locate the spring and isolate it from the body, so you do not hear every squeak and clunk as the suspension moves. When those parts wear, noise and sag follow.

On leaf-sprung vehicles, the bushings in the spring eyes and shackles let the spring flex and lengthen as it moves. Worn ones let the axle shift and make the rear end squeak or clunk over bumps, especially when the bed is loaded.

Fresh spring hardware is a simple refresh for a vehicle that has started to creak or sit unevenly. It does not change the spring rate, but it restores a firm, quiet connection between the spring and the chassis.
