SuperPro makes this kit for the differential to crossmember mounts on the 1970-1973 Nissan 240Z and 1974-1975 260Z. Soft or worn diff mount bushings let the axle housing shift under load, and that movement can be heard and felt. New bushings are a low-cost way to tighten things up. Differential mounts take the twisting load as power goes through the axle, and once they soften the diff can move on and off the throttle, which you hear as a clunk and feel as slack in the driveline. It suits classic cars that still see regular road use.

About this bushing kit for the Nissan 240Z & 260Z

Worn or soft bushings let the suspension move in ways it shouldn't. Fresh or firmer bushings on the Nissan 240Z & 260Z make steering and braking feel more precise.

What else to plan for

  • An alignment after installing new arms or bushings.
  • Matching parts at the other end. Upgrading one side or one link and leaving worn parts elsewhere limits the improvement.
  • Install tools. Pressed-in bushings may need a press or a shop to fit them.
