This SuperPro front strut bar to chassis mount bushing kit replaces the strut bar mount bushings at the front of the car for the 1988-1991 Honda Civic, CRX and Prelude. The strut bar, or tension rod, controls fore-aft movement of the lower arm. Its chassis mount bushings take braking loads, so worn ones show up as clunks and shimmy when stopping. It suits street cars and weekend track or autocross use.

Strut bar mount bushings sit where the tension rod meets the chassis. They control how far the wheel can move backward under braking and over bumps.
