If the shock absorber bushings on your car have gone soft, this SuperPro front shock absorber bushing kit is the matching replacement. The bushings at each end of a shock absorber isolate it from the mounts. When they flatten or crack, the damper can rattle in its mounts. It suits owners refreshing worn suspension on a street car.

Shock absorber bushings mount the damper to the body and the suspension. Worn ones let the shock move before it starts damping and are a common source of knocks.

Bushings wear slowly, so many owners do not notice the change until new parts go in. Cracks, missing chunks or oily, swollen rubber are all signs it is time to replace them.

Replacing bushings in pairs or as a complete set keeps both sides of the car behaving the same way, which matters for straight-line stability and braking.

Key features

  • Front-position part
  • Designed as an upgrade over the original rubber bushings
  • Intended to run quieter and outlast rubber

Fitment

Install notes

Expect to use a press, or have a shop do the job, because pressed-in bushings do not go in by hand.

Before you order: fitment and setup

If the car feels loose, clunks over bumps or wanders under braking, tired bushings are a common cause.

Ask about fitment

Plan the whole job

  • An alignment after installing new arms or bushings.
  • Matching parts at the other end. Upgrading one side or one link and leaving worn parts elsewhere limits the improvement.
  • Install tools. Pressed-in bushings may need a press or a shop to fit them.

Questions

Will this fit my car?
Check the product title and details for the vehicles it is listed for. If you are not sure, contact us with your year, make, model and trim and we will confirm fitment with the supplier before you order.
Do I need an alignment after installing this?
If the part changes or affects suspension geometry, yes. It is a good idea after any arm, link or bushing change.
Can I install it myself?
Many bolt-on parts can be installed at home with the right tools and a safe way to support the car. Pressed bushings and anything you are unsure about are best left to a shop.
Where do specs and warranty details come from?
From SuperPro. We sell parts from several brands and suppliers, and each one sets its own specs, lead times and warranty terms. The product details above are the latest we have.
