SuperPro Front Control Arm Upper-Inner Bushing Kit for 1966-1983 Fiat 124 and 124 Spider

This SuperPro kit replaces the front upper-inner control arm bushings on the Fiat 124, including the 124 Special and the long-lived 124 Spider, from 1966 to 1983. It suits restorations and Spiders that are driven regularly and have lost their crisp steering. Control arm bushings locate the arm to the chassis, so they govern how precisely the wheel holds its position under braking, acceleration and cornering. As the original bushings age they soften and tear, letting the arm move where it should not; you feel that as wandering, clunks or steering that needs constant correction. Replacing the bushings restores that location without the cost of new arms. Uneven tire wear is often traced back to worn arm bushings, because the alignment shifts as the arm moves around. Most arm bushings press into the arm, so plan on a press, or a shop with one, if you are not set up for it.
