SuperPro Front Lower Control Arm Inner Bushing Kit for 2004-2008 Ford F150, Part SPF5689K

This SuperPro kit replaces the inner bushings on the front lower control arms of the 2004-2008 Ford F150. On a truck that tows, hauls or simply has a lot of miles on it, fresh lower arm bushings help it track straighter and feel more composed under braking.

Every bushing in a suspension is a small cushion between a moving part and a fixed one. Over time the original rubber can crack, soften or tear, and the arm it locates starts to shift under load. That slack is what you feel as vague steering, a knock over potholes or a car that wanders when you brake hard.

Bushings rarely fail all at once. They wear slowly, so most owners get used to the extra movement until a new part goes in and the car suddenly feels tighter. Replacing tired bushings is one of the more cost-effective ways to bring back the precision a chassis had when it was new.
