This SLR Speed suspension arm is listed for the Racing. Upgraded or replacement arms restore or correct suspension geometry, which shows up as better tire wear and a more planted car.

Key details

  • Lightweight chromoly control arms(40% arm weight reduction for e30/e36)
  • 40%* faster steering ratio
  • 34mm roll-center correction
  • * Steering quickening determined by 40% more actual front wheel angle per mm of lock.
  • Or in other words, instead of the front wheels turning 10° in the first half-turn of the steering, they will now turn 14°.

Before you order

  • Please note, our race kits do not add steering angle, and often will reduce steering clearance slightly because they are designed with a delta shape in place of the L-shape factory arms to provide a stronger arm with direct load paths for minimum weight.
  • Each control arm is 100% TIG welded in house by a master of the craft.
  • Unlike our drift kits we do not build the race kit with maximum angle clearance in mind, this kit is built with the sole purpose of lowering your lap times.
  • The arms are affixed with custom designed and developed hardware proudly machined in the USA by SLRspeed from forged 4140 billet steel.
  • Compare to other companies that charge nearly as much for simply a pair of control arms and hardware that you will need to purchase additional parts to get the same -benefits as our complete package.
  • All hardware for 100% bolt-on installation
  • E46/Z4 kits will include Delrin lollipop bushings by default
  • Please Include year and model in the notes once you have placed your order.

Tip: Plan an alignment after installing new arms.

Before you order: Racing fitment and setup

Factory arms and their rubber bushings are built for stock ride height and comfort. Upgraded arms are how most modified Racings get alignment and feel dialed in.

Fitment notes

  • Listed for: Racing.
  • Specs, lead time and warranty come from SLR Speed and can change. The details above this guide are the latest we have.

Not sure it fits? Tell us exactly what you drive and we'll confirm fitment with the supplier first. It's free and saves a return.

Ask about fitment

Plan the whole job

  • An alignment after installing new arms or bushings.
  • Matching parts at the other end. Upgrading one side or one link and leaving worn parts elsewhere limits the improvement.
  • Install tools. Pressed-in bushings may need a press or a shop to fit them.
