Listed for: Chevrolet Silverado GMCFitment notes & questions

Once a 2019-2022 Silverado or Sierra 1500 has been lifted 2 to 4 inches, the stock upper arms sit at the wrong angle and the front end loses some of its precision. These front upper control arms are made for that new ride height. One-piece polyurethane bushings take out the slop that rubber allows, and the hardened ball joints are sized for the extra load a lifted truck sees, so steering feels tighter and more direct. They are for owners of lifted 1500s without Adaptive Ride Control who want arms matched to the height they now run.

Key features

  • One-piece polyurethane bushings designed not to walk out
  • Ball joints with a hardened steel ball and steel socket
  • Steel arms with an industrial powder coat
  • Cuts down suspension slop for sharper response
  • Made for a 2-4 in lift range
  • Package weight 10.8 kg, package size 37 x 36.3 x 16 cm

Fitment

  • Chevy Silverado 1500 2019-2022 with a 2-4 in lift
  • GMC Sierra 1500 2019-2022 with a 2-4 in lift
  • Only for trucks without Adaptive Ride Control suspension

Check your year, trim and drivetrain against the list above before ordering.

MaXpeedingrods bushings for your Chevrolet Silverado GMC: what to know

If the car feels loose, clunks over bumps or wanders under braking, tired bushings are a common cause on a Chevrolet Silverado GMC with some age on it.

Ask about fitment

Parts that usually go with it

  • An alignment after installing new arms or bushings.
  • Matching parts at the other end. Upgrading one side or one link and leaving worn parts elsewhere limits the improvement.
  • Install tools. Pressed-in bushings may need a press or a shop to fit them.

Do I need an alignment after installing this?
If the part changes or affects suspension geometry, yes. It is a good idea after any arm, link or bushing change.
Can I install it myself?
Many bolt-on parts can be installed at home with the right tools and a safe way to support the car. Pressed bushings and anything you are unsure about are best left to a shop.
