Collection: WRX & STI Coilovers & Suspension

Coilovers and suspension parts for the Subaru WRX and WRX STI, from the 2002-2007 GD/GG through the 2008-2014 GR/GV, 2015-2021 VA and 2022+ VB. Brands include FactionFab, BLOX Racing, Air Lift, Godspeed, HKS and Megan Racing.

Choosing coilovers for your WRX or STI

Subaru has built the WRX across several chassis: GD/GG (2002-2007), GR/GV (2008-2014), VA (2015-2021) and VB (2022+). The STI shares most suspension with the WRX of the same generation, but some years differ, so check the years, chassis and whether a kit is listed for WRX, STI or both.

FactionFab offers FL-Spec (street) and FR-Spec (track) coilovers across most generations. BLOX Racing has Street Series II Plus and fully adjustable Plus Series kits, and Air Lift Performance offers air-adjustable ride height for the 2015-2021 cars. HKS Hipermax, Megan Racing and Godspeed kits are also listed.

On AWD cars, lowering affects rear camber and toe. BLOX Racing rear lower control arms are listed for 2008+ WRX and STI, and Megan Racing rear upper control arms for 2008-2014 cars, to help correct alignment after lowering.

WRX & STI Coilovers & Suspension FAQ

Are WRX and STI coilovers interchangeable?
Within the same generation many kits are listed for both, but not all. Check whether the product title lists WRX, STI or both, along with the years and chassis.
Will coilovers make my WRX ride harsh?
It depends on the kit and how it is set up. Street kits with damping adjustment can be softened for daily driving, while track kits use stiffer springs.
Do I need an alignment after lowering a WRX or STI?
Yes. Plan on a four-wheel alignment after installing coilovers or control arms.
How low can I go on an AWD Subaru?
Moderate drops keep suspension geometry, axle angles and ground clearance in a usable range. Very large drops can need extra parts, so check each kit's notes.
