How to choose

Kit or component. Many Skyjacker listings here are labeled "Suspension Lift Kit Component", meaning a single spring set or part, not a full kit. Check what is included before you plan your build.

Current Bronco: spacers or springs. Spacer kits like the Skyjacker 2in and 3in keep the factory coilovers and add height at low cost. Eibach Pro-Lift springs replace the coils, give a modest lift and keep the spring rate matched to the truck's weight. Some Eibach kits require the Bilstein position-sensitive dampers fitted to certain trims, so read the notes.

Upper control arms past 2 inches. Lifting the independent front pushes the upper ball joint toward its limit and pulls camber and caster out of spec. The Skyjacker 2-3in upper arms restore that geometry.

Raptor. Eibach's Raptor springs are designed to work with the factory Fox electronic shocks, so you keep the semi-active damping.

Classic Broncos. On 1980-1996 trucks the Twin Traction Beam front changes camber as it lifts, so taller coils usually need matching beam drop brackets and an alignment. On solid-axle trucks, watch driveshaft angles as lift grows.

Price range

Prices start around $50 for single components, sit near $400 for a typical kit and reach about $1,300.

FAQ

Will a Bronco Sport kit fit a full-size Bronco?

No. The Bronco Sport is a different, unibody platform with its own suspension, so only parts listed for it will work.

Do I need new shocks with a lift?

On spacer lifts the factory shocks usually stay. Larger spring lifts on older Broncos need longer shocks to use the added travel without topping out.
