Choosing between them

Street coilovers give you adjustable ride height and damping for a car you drive every day. Track and N2 kits suit cars that see track days or need more adjustment. Air struts let the car sit low when parked and lift for driveways. See how SF Racing Sport, Track and N2 compare.

Subaru Legacy Coilovers & Suspension FAQ

Which coilovers fit the Subaru Legacy?
Every kit on this page is listed for the Subaru Legacy. Check that your model years, drivetrain and chassis code match the product title. If your car has factory adaptive or electronic dampers, check the listing notes, since some kits need a cancellation kit.
What is the difference between SF Racing Sport, Track and N2 for the Subaru Legacy?
Sport and Track kits share the same damper sizes and, on almost every car, the same spring rates. Track kits use firmer valving for track use. N2 kits add external reservoirs and separate rebound and compression adjustment.
Should I get coilovers or air suspension for my Subaru Legacy?
Coilovers suit a car that is driven hard and set at one height. Air struts suit a car that needs to sit low when parked and lift for driveways, and they need an air management system.
Do I need an alignment after lowering my Subaru Legacy?
Yes. Changing ride height changes camber and toe. Set your final height, let the suspension settle, then get the car aligned.
