Collection: Chevy Silverado Lift Kits

This page covers over 30 lift and leveling kits for the Chevy Silverado 1500, 2500 HD and 3500 HD. Skyjacker supplies about half of them, with Eibach Pro-Truck kits, Cognito leveling kits and Rancho systems making up most of the rest.

Which generation do you have?

  • 1999-2006 GMT800 Silverado 1500 and HD, plus the 2007 Classic
  • 2007-2013 GMT900 Silverado 1500
  • 2014-2018 Silverado 1500
  • 2019-2024 Silverado 1500, and 2020-2024 2500/3500 HD
  • 2025 Silverado 1500

Silverado kits are split by 1500 or HD, 2WD or 4WD, and sometimes engine, as with Eibach kits for the 5.3L V8. Match the exact years, cab, bed and drivetrain on each listing.

How to choose

Start with the goal. A leveling kit, like the Cognito 2in and 3in kits, raises only the front to remove the factory rake and is the simplest way to fit slightly larger tires. A lift kit raises front and rear, usually with rear blocks or hangers on these leaf-spring trucks, so the truck keeps its stance under load.

Every Silverado here has independent front suspension, so front height is limited by CV and ball joint angles. On 2007 and later 1500s, which use front coilover struts, about 2 to 2.5 inches is a comfortable limit with spacers or springs. The 3.5in Skyjacker kits add upper control arms to restore alignment and keep the ball joints working in range. HD trucks and 1999-2006 1500s use front torsion bars, so leveling there means re-indexing keys and keeping enough travel before the front tops out. Rancho and Skyjacker component listings are single boxes of a larger kit.

Price range

Prices run from about $95 for single parts to about $1,450 for complete systems, with the typical kit near $720.

FAQ

Do these kits fit the GMC Sierra?

Many do, since the Sierra shares its chassis with the Silverado. Cognito and MaxTrac titles name both trucks, and other listings should be checked before ordering for a Sierra.

How much tire does a leveling kit add room for?

It depends on wheel offset and width, so use a fitment calculator with your planned wheel and tire rather than relying on a general rule.

See every part for this truck on our Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra suspension page, or check tire clearance with the ride height and wheel fitment calculator.
