Match the exact years, 4WD, gas or diesel engine, and single or dually rear on each listing. Spring rates differ between gas and diesel trucks.

How to choose

The 4WD Super Duty runs a solid front axle on coil springs, so lift height comes from taller springs, spacers or both. A 2 inch spacer or 2.5 inch spring kit levels the truck and keeps factory geometry close to stock. From 2.5 to 4.5 inches, most builds add an adjustable track bar to re-center the front axle, plus bump stop drops so the tires do not hit the fenders at full compression. At 6 inches and above, look for kits with radius arm drop brackets or 4-link arms to correct caster, and expect longer brake lines and steering corrections.

In the rear, lift blocks or springs raise the leaf pack. Angled blocks, like the MaxTrac 4 inch blocks with 4 degrees, help keep the pinion lined up with the driveshaft. Many Skyjacker kits come as several component boxes, so make sure you order every box your system needs.

Price range

Parts run from about $90 for spacers and blocks to around $2,000 for complete systems, with most near $570.

FAQ

Why are there so many component boxes?

Larger lifts are split into separate boxes for springs, brackets, arms and shocks. Read each listing to see which box it covers and which others complete the kit.

Do diesel trucks need different springs?

Yes. A diesel engine adds front weight, so springs are rated differently. Pick the gas or diesel version that matches your truck.
