Best Assetto Corsa Drift Tracks: 24 Free Drift Maps (2026)

The best Assetto Corsa drift tracks fall into five groups: replicas of Formula Drift and pro rounds, real US grassroots venues, league competition layouts, Japanese circuits and touge roads, and original drift parks. Below are 24 free drift maps from those groups, with a short pick for each, who made it and what it is good for.

Formula Drift and pro rounds

These maps let you drive the courses the pros battle on. They suit comp practice and anyone who watches the series and wants to try the lines.

  • FD Utah by Jack Cliffe is based on the Formula Drift round at Utah Motorsports Campus. High-speed straights feed intricate corners, so it is a proper pro-level test.
  • FD St. Louis 2023 recreates the 2023 Formula Drift round at Gateway Motorsports Park. It mixes fast sections with technical turns.
  • Formula Drift Soldier Field is a modern tribute to the 2005 Formula Drift event at Chicago's Soldier Field, not a 1:1 copy. Expect stadium transitions, tight corners and wall zones for proximity tandems.
  • ESDA Irwindale Speedway 2023 by ZEN Brady covers the venue known as the House of Drift. You can attack the outer bank at speed or dive into the tight infield.

US grassroots tracks

If you drive a real grassroots event, these are the maps to learn first. A sim lap costs nothing, and knowing the layout before you show up saves seat time.

  • Orlando Speed World by Geronimo Designs and PJ Tantillo was built from point cloud scan data of the real Florida venue. It is the one to drive if you plan to run OSW in person.
  • Lanier Raceway (Caffeine and Octane) sits across the street from Road Atlanta in Braselton, Georgia. The map has eight layouts, including three comp layouts for tandems, plus night lighting.
  • ESDA Englishtown (The Gambler) is based on the New Jersey raceway. Quick corners, technical transitions and tight chicanes make it good for close tandem sessions.
  • Silver Dollar Motorsports Park is a tribute build started by the late Keith Fitzgerald and finished by Randall Kinney. It has three skid pad layouts, a road course comp layout and a drag strip with quarter-mile timing.
  • Quaker City Motorsports Park is a fictional layout based on the venue in Salem, Ohio. It has 16 pit boxes and an AI map, and the listing says CSP is required for its RainFX, GrassFX and LightingFX.

League competition layouts

Online leagues build layouts with clipping zones and transitions set for judged battles. Run these if you want to qualify for a league or host your own comp.

  • DCGP11 Round 1 Long Beach opened season 11 of the Drift Championship Grand Prix. ESDA built the base track and Jack Cliffe refined the layout: walls everywhere and fast flicks.
  • ISDCC Vallelunga turns the Italian circuit into an International Sim Drift Car Championship layout. It rewards arriving fast and still placing the car precisely.
  • ISDCC ADM Raceway is another official ISDCC circuit, shaped for door-to-door tandems. It is a strong pick if you are preparing for ISDCC qualifying.
  • VDC Irwindale Speedway is the Virtual Drift Championship take on Irwindale, with banked turns, tight technical sections and grandstands.
  • CDC Festival hosted the 2024 Confusa Drift Championship final. Team Confusa Sim Racing set it in a fantasy location and reworked the 2024 layout for more flow and difficulty.

Japanese circuits, touge and mountain roads

Japan is where drifting started, and its compact circuits and mountain passes are still the best places to build car control.

  • Ebisu Minami by Perma recreates the classic Japanese course, with tight corners, fast sections and narrow flowing turns. It works for comp runs and casual practice.
  • Meihan Sports Land 2020 keeps the real venue's technical character: tight flowing sections, hairpins and long sweepers for committed slides.
  • Sportsland Yamanashi by Perma is compact, with tight hairpins, quick transitions and short straights. The narrow sections make it a great tandem map.
  • Daikoku by Soyo is based on the famous Japanese parking area. You get on-ramps, open sections and a neon-lit industrial setting for street-style sessions.
  • Kurayoshi Touge by DrZepto is a visual-focused mountain pass. The free v1.1 has 1.4 km of road, one of three layouts and 16 pit slots, with the full 4.0 km version on DrZepto's Patreon.
  • The Great State of Touge gives you more than 70 km of free-roam mountain road in the free version. It has 50 pit boxes, a hotlap mode and teleports, which makes it ideal for long tandem runs and online matsuris.

Original drift parks

Original parks are designed only for drifting, so every corner links to the next. They are the best maps for beginners and crew sessions.

  • Pine Valley Drift Park by the Assetto Drift League has seven layouts: six comp configurations and an open layout. Each layout comes with a momentum line map in the track folder, which is great for learning lines.
  • Denofa's Drift Spot V2 adds five configurations to a training facility map, using a step wall, a jump, a banked wall ride, peanut sections and a figure-8.
  • KB3K Elevation Shift is a desert map with 69 pit boxes split across two grid lanes and a go/no-go signal to line up tandem starts.
  • Kold Kutter Drift by Feint Visuals is based on a frozen drifting spot in Sweden. Ice slows everything down, which makes it a brilliant way to learn weight transfer.

How to choose a drift map

  • Learning the basics: start on an open or forgiving layout like Pine Valley's open layout or Kold Kutter, then move to a compact Japanese circuit.
  • Comp prep: drive the league layout your series uses. DCGP, ISDCC, VDC and CDC each publish their own maps.
  • Tandems with friends: pick a map with plenty of pit slots, like KB3K Elevation Shift or The Great State of Touge.
  • Real event prep: learn the venue you will drive, such as Orlando Speed World or Lanier.
  • Performance: big, detailed maps are heavier to run. Check the listing's notes before loading a full server.

Pair your map with the right car. Our guide to Assetto Corsa drift car packs covers street spec, pro spec and league packs.

What you need before you drive

Most modern drift maps lean on Custom Shaders Patch (CSP), an extension for Assetto Corsa that adds things like Lighting FX, Weather FX and Particles FX. Its official page lists Assetto Corsa v1.16.3/4, 64-bit only, as a requirement. Content Manager, a custom launcher and content manager for the game, is the easiest way to install tracks and switch layouts. The free Lite version covers the basics.

When a listing says a track needs CSP, install CSP before you load it, or the track will not look or work the way its creator intended. Our install guide walks through both tools.

Drift a real car too? The same weight transfer you practise here depends on your suspension, so see our coilovers or the 350Z and G35 drift coilover guide.

FAQ

What is the best drift track in Assetto Corsa?

There is no single best one. For comp practice pick a league layout like DCGP11 Long Beach or ISDCC Vallelunga, for touge pick Kurayoshi Touge or The Great State of Touge, and for learning pick Pine Valley Drift Park.

Are these Assetto Corsa drift tracks free?

Yes. Every track in our Assetto Corsa drift tracks collection is a free download, and each is credited to the creator who made it.

Do I need Custom Shaders Patch for drift maps?

Many modern maps need it or use it for lighting, grass and rain. Check the listing: if it says CSP is required, install CSP first.

Where do Assetto Corsa drift maps go?

Track folders go in assettocorsa/content/tracks. Content Manager can also install them for you from the downloaded archive.

What is a good drift track for beginners?

Pick a map with open space and forgiving walls, like Pine Valley's open layout. Kold Kutter's ice also slows everything down, which helps you learn weight transfer.
