BDC Street V5 Assetto Corsa Drift Car Pack

Assetto Corsa Drift Car Packs: Street, Pro and League Packs (2026)

An Assetto Corsa drift car pack is a set of modded drift cars released together by one crew, league or creator. Instead of hunting down cars one at a time, you install one download and get a matched group of builds that are meant to be driven together, which is exactly what you want for tandems and online servers.

We list seven free drift car packs, from street spec builds like BDC Street V5, WDT Street Spec and N-Style Street Cars to the competition-grade VDC 4.0. Every one is a free download credited to its creator. Browse them in Assetto Corsa car packs, or see tracks and cars together in all Assetto Corsa drift mods.

Every drift car pack we list

This table sums up what each listing says. Some creators publish detailed change notes, others only a short description, so where a listing does not give a car list we say so instead of guessing.

Street spec car packs

Street spec packs are built to feel like real street drift cars: less power and grip than a pro car, softer setups and more of a "built in the garage" character. They are forgiving to learn on and great fun on touge roads, street maps and grassroots tracks.

BDC Street V5

BDC Street V5 is the latest version of the BDC street pack from BDC Merky and BDC RiiLAND. The listing says V5 brings all-new physics with revised tyres, suspension and inertia, adds 10 new cars, and includes new sounds, expanded tuning options and new skins. If you want a street pack that is clearly still being worked on, this is the one to start with.

WDT Street Spec

WDT Street Spec is a collection of highly tuned street cars with setups based on real-world street builds. The listing pitches it at casual drifting, city street runs and relaxed tandem sessions with friends.

N-Style Street Cars (NStyle pack)

N-Style Street Cars, from Tsujigiri, is the pack people search for as the "NStyle car pack". It is a group of street-tuned cars inspired by real-world builds, each with its own mix of power, style and handling. It has a laid-back street feel, so it suits freestyle sessions and city maps more than judged comps.

Gravy Garage 2.0

Gravy Garage 2.0 mixes street and modified cars, all tuned for drifting. The listing says each car has its own handling character built around balance and precision, and that the pack works for casual and more technical, competitive sessions.

Pro spec and competition packs

Pro spec cars are closer to what you see at a Formula Drift round: more power, more grip, more steering angle and setups meant for judged battles. They are faster and less forgiving, and they make the most sense on competition layouts.

VDC 4.0

VDC 4.0 comes from VDC, the Virtual Drift Championship. The listing describes it as competition-grade drift cars modeled on machines used in professional drift competitions, with handling and balance meant to mirror real competition cars. Pair it with league layouts like VDC Irwindale Speedway.

BDC V4

BDC V4 is the earlier BDC pack: powerful, tuned cars focused on tandems and wide-angle slides. It needs the official Japanese Pack DLC for Assetto Corsa from Steam, so buy and install that first. Steam lists that DLC as seven cars in twelve versions, including the Toyota AE86 and Supra MK IV with drift versions.

DWG 3.0

DWG 3.0 is Part 1 of the Death Wish Garage public release. The crew chose to release the cars that were ready rather than hold everything back. The listing does not include a car list, so treat it as a fresh set of crew builds to try on a track you already know.

Bonus cars that come with tracks

Two of our track downloads include cars too. The ULTRACE Next Level Drift map comes with a custom FUMI car pack inspired by cars at the real ULTRACE NEXT LEVEL show. KB3K House of RWD, an RC-style drift track, comes with an RC body, a drift kart and a car from Trackmania Turbo, each credited to its own creator.

Street spec vs pro spec vs league packs

These labels are not official categories, but they tell you a lot about how a pack will drive:

  • Street spec cars aim to feel like a real street build. Expect lower power, less grip and more body movement. They are easier to learn on and great for touge and street maps.
  • Pro spec cars aim to feel like competition machines. Expect big power and grip, high entry speeds and big angle. They reward clean inputs and suit comp layouts.
  • League packs are the cars a league or crew runs on its own servers. Everyone drives the same files, so the battles are fair. If you want to join a league like VDC, use its pack.

The practical rule: online servers only let you drive cars that the server runs, and you need the same car files installed. Content Manager's official page lists missing content download as part of its online mode, which helps, but having the league's pack installed ahead of time saves you trouble.

How to choose a drift car pack

  • You are new to sim drifting: start with a street spec pack like BDC Street V5 or WDT Street Spec on an open map.
  • You want to compete: install the pack your league or server uses, often VDC 4.0 for VDC events.
  • You drive with a crew: agree on one pack so everyone's cars feel alike in tandems.
  • You only own the base game: skip BDC V4 until you add the Japanese Pack DLC.

Installing a car pack

Unzip the download, then either drag the archive onto Content Manager or copy each car folder into assettocorsa/content/cars. Each car should sit in its own folder directly inside cars, not inside an extra folder from the zip. Skins live in a skins folder inside each car, and you pick them in Content Manager before you drive. Many drift tracks also need Custom Shaders Patch. Our step-by-step guide on how to install Assetto Corsa mods covers folder paths, skins and common errors.

Get the most out of a new pack

  • Drive each car on a track you know well first, so you feel what changed in the car instead of the track.
  • Start with the car as the creator set it up. Change one thing at a time in the setup screen, such as tyre pressures, where the car allows it.
  • Save replays and compare runs. It is the quickest way to see where you lose angle or speed.

If you drift a real car, the same balance you chase in the setup screen comes from springs and dampers. Our lowering springs and GR86 and BRZ drift coilover guide are a good place to start.
