Drift it for real: build your own car with steering angle kits, coilovers and camber and toe arms.

VDM Ireland is a free Mondello Park drift track for Assetto Corsa, setting up the Irish circuit for sliding. The layout flows from quick, open sweepers into tighter technical corners, and the elevation changes keep you working on weight transfer the whole lap. It is a good all-rounder: beginners can use the wide spaces to learn car control, while experienced drivers can chase precise lines or run tandems in an online lobby.

About the real track

Mondello Park is near Naas in County Kildare and is Ireland's only internationally licensed race circuit. It is often called the home of Irish drifting, and in June 2024 it hosted Round 2 of the Drift Masters European Championship on its reverse layout, a mix of technical corners and sweeping bends. How to install

  • Unzip the download to a folder on your PC.
  • Drag the archive into Content Manager to install it, or copy the track folder into assettocorsa/content/tracks by hand.
  • Open Content Manager, pick VDM Ireland Mondello Park and the layout you want, and start a session.

Is VDM Ireland Mondello Park free?

What is the difference between the VDM and VDC Mondello Park tracks?

They are separate releases of the same Irish circuit. VDC Mondello Park was made for the Virtual Drift Championship; this is the VDM Ireland version.

Does it need CSP?

The original release notes do not list Custom Shaders Patch (CSP) as a requirement, but many modded tracks use it for lighting and effects, so install it if anything looks wrong.

Which cars suit it?
