Listed for: 2021+ Lexus NX (AZ20)Fitment notes & questions

SF Racing's Track Coilovers for the 2021+ Lexus NX (AZ20) use firmer, track-focused valving for drivers who want sharper response and more control, while staying usable on the street.

How this kit is set up for the 2021+ Lexus NX

The front uses true coilovers, while the rear stays divorced (separate spring and shock), matching how the car is built from the factory. Damper bodies are 52mm front and 46mm rear. It comes with 8 kg/mm (about 448 lb/in) springs up front and 6 kg/mm (about 336 lb/in) at the rear. Damping is 1-way: a single knob with 32 settings changes rebound and compression together, which keeps tuning quick. The front top mounts are aluminum with rubber bushings, with aluminum camber plates with pillowball bushings available as an option.

Features

  • Monotube damper design for better heat control and fewer leaks
  • 32-level damping adjustment, rebound and compression combined on one adjuster
  • Built-in dust boots and bump stops
  • Bolt-on install with no modifications, unless the notes below say otherwise
  • Ride height lowers roughly 1 to 2.5 inches below stock (SF Racing's figure) without giving up suspension travel
  • Separate lower-mount (length) adjustment, so height changes don't preload the spring
  • Anodized T6-6061 aluminum top mounts, spring perches and collars for corrosion resistance
  • Zinc-plated shock bodies for rust protection
  • SAE9254 cold-wound springs
  • NOK seals and Italian IP damping oil (20W)

Who it suits

Ideal if body control and response matter more to you than the softest possible ride.

Before you order: Lexus NX fitment and setup

If you want more control over stance and handling than lowering springs give you on a Lexus NX, a coilover kit like this SF Racing set is the usual next step.

Fitment notes

  • Listed for: 2021+ Lexus NX (AZ20).
  • Model years: 2021+. Newer years can change parts mid-generation, so match the exact year.
  • Chassis code AZ20: parts for other chassis codes of the same model usually won't fit.
  • Factory adaptive dampers: if your car has electronic or adaptive suspension, check whether the listing covers it or needs a cancellation kit.
  • Specs, lead time and warranty come from SF Racing and can change. The details above this guide are the latest we have.

Plan the whole job

  • An alignment. Any change in ride height changes camber and toe. Set your final height first, then align.
  • Camber and toe adjustment. Bigger drops often need adjustable arms or camber plates to align properly. See alignment and camber kits.
  • Wheel and tire clearance. Check clearance at full lock and full compression, especially with wider wheels. Our ride height and wheel fitment calculator shows how much drop and offset change you are planning.
  • The right spring rate. Compare the rates listed here with what our spring rate calculator suggests for your car's weight and use.

Questions about Lexus NX coilovers

Will this fit my Lexus NX?
It is listed for the 2021+ Lexus NX (AZ20). Check your year, model, drivetrain and chassis code against the product title. If anything is different, contact us and we will confirm fitment with the supplier before you order.
Do I need an alignment after installing coilovers?
Yes. Changing ride height changes camber and toe. Set your final height, let the suspension settle, then get the car aligned.
How low can I go?
It depends on the adjustment range the brand lists, your wheels and tires, and how you use the car. Most cars that are driven hard work best with a modest drop that leaves enough suspension travel.
Where do specs and warranty details come from?
From SF Racing. We sell parts from several brands and suppliers, and each one sets its own specs, lead times and warranty terms. The product details above are the latest we have.
