Rear trailing arm bushings control how much the rear wheels move forward and back. Replacing worn ones tightens up the rear end so it follows the front more faithfully through corners. It is a good fit for older cars being refreshed for regular street driving or weekend events. Rear bushings are easy to overlook, but they have a large effect on how stable the car feels. A clunk from the rear when pulling away or braking is a common sign these bushings are done. Fresh bushings help the rear alignment stay consistent as the suspension compresses and rebounds. Plan an alignment check after any suspension work in this area. Fresh parts here also take some strain off the surrounding suspension components. Old bushings that are cracked, split or visibly distorted are due for replacement.

Key features

Position: rear suspension

Part: Trailing Arm Upper Bushing

Product type: suspension trailing arm bushing

Fitment

Fiat 124: 1966-1973 Base; 1970 Special; 1968-1973 Spider

Check your year, trim and drivetrain against the list above before ordering.
