The trailing arms carry the rear wheels, and their bushings decide how much the axle can wander fore and aft. It is aimed at spirited road driving as well as weekend track or autocross use, and is well suited to bringing an older chassis back to a tight, quiet state.

Suspension bushings rarely fail all at once; they degrade slowly, so the change is easy to miss. Renewing the trailing arm lower-rear bushing set on a Jaguar XKE is a straightforward way to undo years of gradual wear.

A trailing arm lower-rear bushing set is a small part, but it carries load every time the suspension moves. When it wears, the Jaguar XKE can feel loose or noisy, and a replacement is usually the simplest fix.

Key features

Rear trailing arm lower-rear bushing kit, renewing the mounting point named in the part title

5 listed vehicle applications

Fitment

1967-1969 Jaguar 240

1967-1968 Jaguar 340

1967-1968 Jaguar 420 (G)

1970-1971 Jaguar XJ

1961-1974 Jaguar XKE

Check your year, trim and drivetrain against the list above before ordering.

Install notes

Because the bushings press into place, installation may need a press or professional help.
