Worn bushings let camber move under load, which upsets the rear in fast corners and wears tires unevenly. SPF4643K renews those joints for C4 owners who drive their cars on back roads, at autocross or on track.

Bushings isolate the body from the suspension while keeping each component lined up. When they age out, the wheel can steer itself slightly over bumps and under load. New bushings cut down that unwanted movement, which helps tire wear and makes the car easier to place on the road.

Most owners do this job as part of a wider refresh, since the related parts are already apart. Clean the housings well before fitting the new parts, follow the maker's guidance on lubrication where it applies, and recheck bolt torque after the first few hundred miles.

Key features

Rear strut rod bushing

Manufacturer part number SPF4643K

Listed for Corvette Base, ZR-1, Grand Sport, Collector's Edition and Pace Car models

Fitment

1988 Chevrolet Corvette 35th Anniversary Edition

1993 Chevrolet Corvette 40th Anniversary Edition

1988-1996 Chevrolet Corvette Base

1996 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport, Collector's Edition

1995 Chevrolet Corvette Indianapolis 500 Pace Car

1990-1995 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1

Check your year, trim and drivetrain against the list above before ordering.
