Lowering a Tesla or driving it hard moves the rear geometry away from where the factory set it, and replacing this arm is one of the ways modified cars get their alignment back into range. It suits street-driven Teslas on lowering springs or coilovers, and owners who want rear tire wear and stability sorted out. Because it changes where the rear wheel sits, fit the arm before the car goes in for its alignment so you only pay for the alignment once.

Key features

Part: Rear lower front control arm kit TRC1152

Position: Rear

Part number: TRC1152

Replaces the rear lower front control arm

Listed for the Tesla Model 3; the product name also names the Model Y

Fitment

Tesla Model 3

Tesla Model Y (named in the product title)

Check your year, trim and drivetrain against the list above before ordering.

Install notes

New control arms change the suspension geometry, so book a wheel alignment once they are installed.

https://lowerhq.com/products/superpro-rear-lower-front-control-arm-kit-to-suit-tesla-model-3-and-model-y-trc1152
