This joint carries the shock's force into the arm, and a worn bushing turns every bump into a knock and lets the shock move before it damps. It suits owners of these rear-drive cars who drive them on the street or take them to the track.

Bushings are a cost-effective place to start when an older Supra feels loose, because they affect how every other suspension part does its job. If other suspension work is planned, doing the shock mount bushings at the same time saves repeating the labor later. A firm, fresh bushing also helps steering and braking inputs reach the tires more directly, which drivers notice as a more precise, settled car.

Key features

Rear lower control arm to shock mount bushing kit

Shared fitment across several Toyota and Lexus rear-drive platforms

Fitment

1993-1998 Toyota Supra Base and Twin Turbo

1992-2000 Lexus SC300 and SC400

1993-1997 Lexus GS300

1989-1992 Toyota Cressida Base and Luxury

Check your year, trim and drivetrain against the list above before ordering.

Install notes

Pressed-in bushings may need a hydraulic press or a shop to fit on the Supra.
