Bushings at the chassis end of the strut bar take much of the front braking load, so worn ones can show up as shimmy or wander when you stop hard. It suits restorations and classic cars that still get driven.

Replacing worn bushings is one of the simplest ways to bring back precise steering and a planted feel without changing the car's ride height.

Key features

Front suspension part from SuperPro

Bushings for the strut bar to chassis mount

SuperPro presents these as an upgrade over rubber bushings, quieter and longer lasting

Listed for 7 models from Subaru

Fitment

1978-1987 Subaru Brat (DL, GL, GL Turbo)

1985-1989 Subaru DL (Base)

1985-1989 Subaru GL (Turbo, Base)

1985-1989 Subaru GL-10 (Base, Turbo)

1990-1994 Subaru Loyale (Base, Turbo, RS, RS Turbo)

1985-1989 Subaru RX (Turbo)

1985-1991 Subaru XT (DL, GL, GL-10, GL-10 Turbo, XT6)

Check your year, trim and drivetrain against the list above before ordering.

Install notes

Pressed-in bushings may need a hydraulic press or a shop to fit, so plan for that if you are working at home.
