superpro-front-strut-bar-to-chassis-mount-bushing-kit-34
SuperPro Front Strut Bar to Chassis Mount Bushing Kit for 1973-1979 Honda Civic

This is the SuperPro Front Strut Bar to Chassis Mount Bushing Kit, listed for the 1973-1979 Honda Civic. A strut bar, sometimes called a tension or compression rod, braces the lower arm fore and aft, and its chassis mount bushings take the braking and acceleration loads. Worn ones let the wheel move back and forth, which shows up as clunks and shimmy under braking. Street cars get a quieter, tighter front end, and owners who drive harder or tow get a front suspension that stays put under load. If your car clunks over speed bumps, darts under braking or has started eating the edges of its front tires, worn bushings in this area are a likely cause and worth inspecting.

Key features

Front suspension position, as listed by SuperPro

Pitched by SuperPro as a quieter, longer-lasting and higher-quality alternative to rubber bushings

Listed SKU: 008XT

Listed for 2 vehicle applications

Fitment

1973-1974 Honda Civic Base

1975-1979 Honda Civic CVCC, 1200

Check your year, trim and drivetrain against the list above before ordering.

Install notes

Plan on access to a press, or book shop time, since pressed-in bushings can need one to fit.
