Steering mount bushings hold the steering hardware to the chassis, so any softness there shows up as vague or delayed steering response. It works for a daily driver that sees the odd track day as well as a dedicated weekend car.

As rubber ages it cracks and softens, and the parts it locates start to move in ways the original design never intended. Replacing tired bushings is one of the cheaper ways to bring back the steering feel and stability a car had when it was new.

Key features

Front-mounted application

Designed to replace rubber with a bushing SuperPro describes as quieter and longer lasting

Fitment

Saab 9-2X: 2005-2006

Subaru Impreza: 2000-2017

Years are grouped by model here; the manufacturer lists specific trims within each range, so match your exact trim before ordering.

Check your year, trim and drivetrain against the list above before ordering.

Install notes

These are pressed-in bushings, so you may need a press or a shop to fit them.
