It suits owners of these coupes who want a tighter front end for street or track use.

If your Lexus SC300 clunks over speed bumps, pulls under braking or chews the edges of its tires, worn bushings are a likely cause. Swapping in a new front control arm Upper-Inner bushing kit firms up that joint, which improves steering feel and keeps alignment settings stable on the road.

Rubber suspension bushings soften and crack with age. Once that happens the front control arm Upper-Inner bushing kit lets the arm shift under braking and cornering, which shows up as vague steering, clunks over bumps and uneven tire wear. Replacing them puts the arm back where it belongs and lets the springs and dampers do their job.

Key features

Front control arm upper-inner bushings

Listed for Supra Base, Supra Twin Turbo, SC300 and SC400

Fitment

1992-2000 Lexus SC300 Base

1992-2000 Lexus SC400 Base

1993-1998 Toyota Supra Base, Twin Turbo

Check your year, trim and drivetrain against the list above before ordering.

Install notes

Expect to press the old bushings out and the new ones in; a shop press or a local suspension shop makes this straightforward.
