Control arm bushings are the pivot points that let the arm move up and down while holding the wheel in position. Once they wear, alignment can shift under load and the car may wander, tramline or clunk. It suits restorations and classic cars still driven on the road.

The control arm bushings decide how precisely the wheel is located. Fresh bushings keep camber and toe closer to where the alignment was set, especially under braking and cornering loads.

If you are already replacing worn parts in this area, it is a good time to inspect the surrounding bushings and hardware too, since they usually age at the same rate.

Once the new parts are in, have the alignment checked, because fresh bushings can locate parts slightly differently from worn ones.

Key features

Fits the front suspension

Listed for 3 year and trim groups

Fitment

1958-1967 Austin Healey Sprite Base

1961 Austin Healey Sprite MK II

1966-1970 Austin Healey Sprite MK IV

Check your year, trim and drivetrain against the list above before ordering.
