A worn bushing here lets the axle shift under load, which can feel like wandering when towing or a thump on take-off. This SuperPro kit replaces the forward eye bushing on the 2009-2014 Ford F-150 FX4 and suits trucks that tow, haul or head off-road.

A firm, fresh bushing also helps steering and braking inputs reach the tires more directly, which drivers notice as a more precise, settled car. It pays to inspect the neighboring joints while the leaf spring bushings are out, since parts that have covered the same miles tend to wear together. Factory rubber bushings soften, crack and tear with age, heat and road grime, and each one that goes lets a suspension part move a little further than the engineers intended.

Key features

SuperPro part number SPF5787K

Rear leaf spring, forward eye position

Fitment

2009-2014 Ford F-150 FX4

Check your year, trim and drivetrain against the list above before ordering.

Install notes

Pressed-in bushings can need a press to install, so a shop may be the easier route for the F-150's leaf spring bushings.

https://lowerhq.com/products/superpro-2009-2014-ford-f-150-fx4-rear-leaf-spring-forward-eye-bushing-kit-spf5787k
