Upper arms on these cars are a common wear item, and replacing the complete arm saves pressing old bushings out. It suits TSX owners refreshing a high-mileage car and those running lowered setups.

When a car is lowered or lifted, the arms end up working at angles the factory never planned for. That can cause uneven tire wear, a nervous feel at speed or steering that does not self-center well. Corrected or adjustable arms bring the geometry back toward a sensible window.

If the original bushings are cracked, split or visibly offset in their housings, they are due. Before ordering, it is worth inspecting the neighboring parts too, since worn ball joints, links or mounts can produce similar symptoms and are easy to replace at the same time.

Most owners do this job as part of a wider refresh, since the related parts are already apart. Clean the housings well before fitting the new parts, follow the maker's guidance on lubrication where it applies, and recheck bolt torque after the first few hundred miles.

Key features

Front upper control arm set

Arms supplied with bushings

Manufacturer part number TRC1168

Fitment

2004-2008 Acura TSX Base

Check your year, trim and drivetrain against the list above before ordering.

https://lowerhq.com/products/superpro-2004-2008-acura-tsx-base-front-upper-control-arm-set-w-bushings-trc1168
