Bushings let suspension parts rotate while keeping them in place. When they are tired, the geometry shifts every time the load changes, which makes the vehicle feel less settled on rough pavement and in corners. A new set puts that location back. Rubber that has been working for years in heat, road grime and constant flexing loses its shape. The result is slop at the joint that you feel as a delay between steering input and response, or a thump when you get on and off the brakes. Renewing the bushing addresses that at the source. This is a practical choice for street vehicles that have started to feel worn, and for enthusiasts building a more responsive setup. When replacing one worn part, it is worth checking the joints, links and mounts around it, since they have usually covered the same miles.

Key features

Front lower control arm bushing kit

Inner forward position

Manufacturer part number SPF5223K

Fitment

2016-2023 Mazda MX-5 Miata

Check your year, trim and drivetrain against the list above before ordering.

https://lowerhq.com/products/superpro-16-23-mazda-miata-mx5-front-lower-control-arm-bushing-kit-inner-forward-position-spf5223k
