Control arm bushings sit at the pivots where each control arm meets the chassis, so they keep the wheel located as the suspension travels up and down. Fresh bushings are an affordable way to firm up an older car that knocks over bumps or drifts off line when you brake. It is a good match for street cars and older vehicles where the steering has gone vague or clunky. If the car clunks over bumps or pulls and wanders under braking, the control arm bushings are one of the first places to look.

Key features

Prothane control arm bushing, sold under SKU 0UKJ5

An inexpensive fix for clunks over bumps and wandering under braking

Well suited to older cars whose original bushings have worn out

Listed for 4 applications from Chevrolet, model years 1963 to 1982

Fitment

1963-1982 Chevrolet Corvette Base

1982 Chevrolet Corvette Collector's Edition

1978 Chevrolet Corvette Indianapolis 500 Pace Car, Silver Anniversary Edition

1975-1976 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray

Check your year, trim and drivetrain against the list above before ordering.

Install notes

Where your vehicle uses pressed-in bushings, you will need a press to fit them, or a shop that has one.
