It ran as Lanier Raceway from 1982, later became Lanier National Speedway and then Lanier Raceplex, and was sold to Caffeine and Octane at the start of 2022. Under Caffeine and Octane it hosted weekly events including Friday Night Drift and became a hub for grassroots drifting in the Southeast. It was sold again in 2025 and now runs as Lanier Speedway.
