It was designed and built by drift driver Nobushige Kumakubo and has several courses, including Nishi (West), Kita (North), Higashi (East) and Minami (South). Minami is the best known of them and has hosted D1 Grand Prix rounds and other drift events. In February 2021 the circuit was badly damaged by a landslide after an earthquake in Fukushima.
